• -Ability to operate a variety of hand and machine tools (drills, mag drills, grinders, reciprocating saws, chop saws, band saws, lathes, and mills)

• -Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and hydraulic schematics

• -Experience with fabrication and welding.

• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, tanks and production machines.
• Observe equipment concerns and initiate corrective action/repair.
• Install, commission and maintain test rig hydraulic systems and/or components.

Graduation from a technical college with Maintenance technician certification or equivalent
